Sports Metropolis Berlin
Berlin is Germany’s political capital and one of the world’s leading sports metropolises. Thanks to its high-quality sporting venues, such as the Olympiastadion Berlin or the Max-Schmeling-Halle and the Velodrom, Berlin hosts sports highlights of international importance again and again. In the last few years for example the Special Olympics Summer Games 2023 as well as the UEFA EURO 2024 and a NFL Game in 2025. In the next few years, Berlin will again be the site of high-caliber events, e.g. the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 and a NFL Game in 2027.
