The West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) supports the delivery of the West Midlands Combined Authority’s Local Industrial Strategy working to increase jobs, businesses and productivity in the region. Our partners include local enterprise partnerships, councils, growth hubs, universities, Chambers of Commerce and the private sector. We focus our core activities across Greater Birmingham and Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire and the Black Country, with the potential and scope to deliver services for the wider West Midlands.

WMGC are lead delivery partner for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Business and Tourism Programme. We are tasked with delivering inward investment, capital investment, leisure tourism, business tourism, regional and attracting major sporting events and boosting the sports economy.
